EV guide
Can I charge an EV at home?

Worth knowing
The parking spot decides more than the car does
Most Adelaide homes can charge an EV — the real question is what it costs to get power to where the car actually parks. A charger three metres from the switchboard is a different job to one twenty metres away with a driveway crossing in between.
Before you buy hardware, walk out to where the car will sit and note the distance back to the switchboard, any walls or paths in the way, and whether that circuit already carries anything else. That's the brief that gets you an accurate quote first go.
