For three-phase installations, place each single-phase load on the phase it will actually use.

01 · Count by phase

Lighting and general socket demand use the point-count bands. A double 10 A socket counts as two points.

02 · Apply each load group

Cooking is 50%, space heating 75%, instantaneous hot water 33.3%, storage hot water and EV charging 100%.

03 · Read the highest phase

Each phase is calculated independently. The highest result is the per-phase maximum demand used for supply assessment.

Scope matters. This page does not cover blocks of living units or non-domestic Table C2 applications. “Other assessed demand” must be determined by a competent designer. Verify classifications, load ratings, phase allocation and the final design against the complete current standard and supply authority rules.
